ABOUT JULI

Here you will find more informations about me and my story of life. My full name is Juliane Kaemmerer and I love to create beautiful and inspiring things. I was born in March 1995 in Dresden, Germany.

When I was five years old, we moved from Dresden to Nuremberg. But not directly into the city, more outside into a small village. And so, my two years older brother and I became village children.

Hard to imagine but still true: When I was sixteen years old, I was very lucky to get a little baby sister. But unfortunately, my school ended the following year, so I left my parents’ home and started my study and apprenticeship.

I’ve always dreamed of a creative job with the needed of a lot of manual skills and different areas of responsibility. I can’t just do one thing – I always need to try out different techniques. This dream led me to the school of product design in Selb, Bavaria, Germany. I studied there for four years.

Immediately after my studies, I started working as a graphic designer at Playmobil. In addition to my office job, I worked as a boulder instructor for kids, too.
But after six years in an narrow office, the mountains or even the landscape were calling to me. So, I quit everything and moved into the beautiful Allgäu, to directly work in the Alps.

After the time in the Alps, I focused on the nature around us. Explored sustainability and self-sufficiency. Currently I live with my boyfriend in a farm community. I continue to educate myself and look forward to my future – no matter what happens next.
